We took our breakfast by the house this morning thinking we could have our first meal in our new kitchen, but when we pulled into the neighborhood, there were people at our house hard at work. So we did our usual drive-by and took our bagels back to the apartment. But, progress was evident from the outside and we were eager to see what all had taken place this week. So we waited several hours and went back. A lot has happened since our last update post! The Dean Residence now has:
Some white plastic stuff!
Shingles!
A door!
This will be stained later.
A fireplace!
A bathtub!
A shower pan!
A platform for my jetted tub!
Pipes and vents!
Windows!
I have a meeting with the electrician on Wednesday morning to go over outlet locations, so that’s what’s up next. It’s starting to feel so real!
