After a weekend at the beach, it was time for Halloween. This is our third Halloween in this house and until this year, we’d never had any trick-or-treaters at all, despite living in a friendly neighborhood. We decorate every year anyway in hopes of having guests, but we have learned to drastically cut back on our candy stock.

This year, Phillip was on call so I spent the evening at home anxiously awaiting costumed kids. Much to my delight, we had 10 trick-or-treaters this year (we’ll ignore the fact that 8 of them weren’t wearing costumes)! Our most successful Halloween yet!
